Day Water Rules

  1. Tickets must be obtained from reception or from the car park ticket machine (correct change is needed) before fishing may commence.
  2. Baden Hall Fisheries accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to fishing tackle, cars, persons or any other property however caused.
  3. All cars must be parked in the car parks, and not on the roadside. All cars are left at owner's risk.
  4. Keep nets can only be used on Doughnut, Canals, Mallards and Pintail.
  5. Peanuts, tiger nuts, trout pellets, shelf-life bollie, non-biodegradable baits (eg. plastic baits) and homemade baits are not allowed.
  6. No rods to be left unattended in the water at any time.
  7. No beach casting methods.
  8. Carp care kits to be carried and used when appropriate.
  9. Unhooking mats must be used.
  10. All fish must be returned to the water.
  11. Barbless hooks only.
  1. Waste bait is not to be disposed of in the waters.
  2. All waters have a 2 rod maximum.
  3. All rubbish must be taken with you when you leave the lake. Failure to do so will result in a ban.
  4. Drunkenness, antisocial and threatening behaviour will not be tolerated. Offenders will be asked to leave.
  5. No swimming.
  6. No fires, BBQ’s are allowed but must be raised off the ground.
  7. No dogs allowed.
  8. No driving on the grass except for access on Dam Pool.
  9. 1 guest per angler.
  10. Juniors (under 16s) must be accompanied by an adult.
  11. Please check for any additional/seasonal rules in reception or by calling us before your visit.

Specimen Water Rules

  1. Tickets must be obtained from reception before fishing may commence.
  2. Age restriction on Specimen Lakes is strictly 18 and over.
  3. No guests are allowed on any of the Specimen Lakes.
  4. No pegs can be picked before 9am for new arrivals.
  5. Fishermen already fishing have the opportunity to change pegs (from those available) by calling between reception opening and 8.45am.
  6. On arrival if your chosen peg is free you will be allowed down to the lakes at 9.30am.
  7. On arrival if your chosen peg is not currently free you will not be allowed down to the lakes until 10.30am.
  8. 24 hours minimum fishing time - this runs from 12 noon to 12 noon. All 24 hour sessions finish at 12 noon even if you arrive later.

  15. Please keep fish wet at all times. Make sure all mats and slings are wet when handling the fish.
  16. No standing up or carrying fish back to the water's edge without using a net or weigh sling, this will result in an instant ban.

  2. No carp sacks allowed under any circumstances.
  3. Barbless hooks only.
  4. Rig checks will be carried out, failure to comply with the rules will result in you being asked to leave.
  5. If using a Spod/Spomb, floats must be used at all times.
  6. Waste bait is not to be disposed of in the waters.
  7. All waters have a 2 rod maximum. 3 rods are allowed from the 1st November to the 28th February.
  8. Please keep within your boundaries set out on the lake maps.
  9. Bait Boats are not allowed on The Quarry.
  10. Bait boats can be used on Bridge and Glovers.
