The lake is especially prolific during the warmer months, with impressive catches recorded year after year. Regular angler Stuart Moss holds the current record with a staggering haul of 125 carp during a 48-hour session in 2013—a testament to the incredible potential of this water. Middle Pool remains just as appealing in winter, providing reliable runs even during the colder months.
Lake Specifications: A Scenic 8-Acre Venue
- Size: Approximately 8 acres, stretching nearly 500 yards in length and over 100 yards wide in places.
- Bottom Features: A clay bottom with an old stream bed running through the center, providing a firmer area for bait presentation and fish activity.
- Depth: A maximum of 9 feet, with an average depth of 6 feet throughout.
- Banks and Pegs: 53 pegs with a mixture of woodchip-based, grassy banks and wooden platforms
- NEW Camper van Pegs: 2 pegs dedicated to fishing from your camper van. These need to be pre-booked along with your fishing
